With X2C, LCM’s development environment, the development time for motor control systems is greatly reduced because the model is made up of modular reusable blocks instead of manual coding. The blocks included in X2C are already tested, which significantly reduces the probability of errors. The intuitive user interface and the convenient combination of tools make X2C easy to understand. But the big advantage is that during runtime all signals can be visualized, and parameters can be easily modified. In addition, X2C can be used directly by customers from Microchip’s MPLAB® X Integrated Development Environment, which further increases the user-friendliness.
