Energy-efficient Cement Production
Data Acquisition for Process Optimization

The production of cement requires a lot of energy. Control of the production process “by hand” requires regular measurement of the fineness and appropriate adjustment of the operating parameters of the ball mill.
These parameters are now digitally recorded and stored in a cloud. In the next step, the grinding process will be controlled on the basis of the current process data and via a digital model of the plant (hybrid approach). This is intended to optimize the throughput with the same energy input and thus significantly reduce the total energy input per ton of cement.
