At this year’s ESMATS, the 19th European Space Mechanisms and Tribology Symposium, LCM participated as speaker and exhibitor. This ESA conference on new developments in space actuation took place from September 20-24, 2021.

LCM presented the latest results from an ESA research project with a consortium with IIES e.U. and AAC GmbH named “Magnetic Brake for Driving Units for Applications in Space Environments”.
Our part in the project is concerned about a magnetic brake that allows for highly precise positioning of antennas or solar panels.

In addition, LCM presented its portfolio in the field of electric drives at the virtual booth of ESMATS.
