Energy-efficient and modularly adaptable fan drives

In the many years of cooperation between LCM and Limodor, numerous control modules for different fan solutions have already been developed. In addition to motor control units, additional modules for motion, time and humidity control have also been developed. The jointly developed EC technology enables energy savings of 40 to 50 % compared to similar solutions on the market. The EC adapter board, which serves as a base module for numerous flexibly combinable control components, plays a central role here. These can be plugged in without tools, enabling particularly simple and modular system integration. LCM also supported the optimization of the drive system with a highly developed motor design.

With the help of SyMSpace, LCM’s development environment, efficiency and costs can be optimally coordinated and adapted to the respective customer requirements through multi-objective optimization. Additional target criteria such as noise development can also be taken into account. LCM supports the entire development process – from the concept phase through to series production – with comprehensive know-how and technical expertise.
