The particular challenge of this task is not recognising the socket, but rather determining its exact position and orientation in order to automatically guide the plug into the socket. Using a digital twin including a camera plug-in, the entire process can be checked in advance and switched over to the real system (or operated in parallel) at the touch of a button using the ROS middleware.
