Electric actuator for motorsport
Together with Reiter Engineering GmbH & Co. KG, a leading development company in motorsport, the performance of a shift actuator for a sequential motorsport gearbox was specifically optimized. The focus was on the design of the electric motor, the electronics design and the software development in order to significantly reduce shift times.
Thanks to an optimized control concept in LCM’s own X2C software development environment and a precise motor design with SyMSpace, the performance of the overall system has been significantly increased.

- Switching process in less than 20 ms
- Reliable operation at up to 120 °C and under strong vibrations
