More performance, less energy consumption and lower system costs

Thanks to their compact design, they are cost-effective, low-maintenance and offer maximum precision, energy efficiency and reliability.

Switching times in the millisecond range improve positioning accuracy, increase reliability and significantly reduce energy consumption.

Hydraulic systems have a high power density, but often suffer from low energy efficiency. This is where digital hydraulic switching concepts come in – with the fast switching valve as the central component. The FSVi(Fast Switching Valve with integrated Electronics) developed by LCM is the first digital valve on the market with a switching time of approx. 1 ms – at least five times faster than standard market solutions.

Optimized magnets and an energy-efficient control, embedded in the integrated electronics, enable a permanent switching frequency of 100 Hz. The simple design also reduces the production and maintenance costs of hydraulic actuators.

Requirements

  • Dosing of different media (gases, hydraulic fluids, lubricants through to pasty liquids)
  • Pressures from 5 bar to 200 bar (applications from 10 bar to 350 bar)
  • Quantities from drops/minute to several liters/minute with one valve
  • Durability of the valves > 1 billion load cycles

Your benefit

  • Significantly higher energy efficiency thanks to fast, digital switching technology
  • Simple, robust design reduces maintenance and costs
  • Very fast switching time (~1 ms) for precise and dynamic control
  • Up to 80 % less energy consumption, less heat loss
  • Smaller tanks and cooling systems due to lower oil temperatures
