Integration of an overall concept

Hood furnaces consist of an incandescent base, a protective hood (hydrogen atmosphere) and a heating/cooling hood. This setting is traditionally manipulated very laboriously and with great skill using a hand-operated overhead crane. This is time-consuming and causes higher costs for the workshop.

For this reason, LCM has developed an autonomous handling system that automatically assembles the required configuration. Such a system can be operated 24/7 without the need for personnel.

Project partner: Ebnernen several of these areas can be optimized as a whole.

Requirements

  • Integration of an overall concept for bell-type furnace systems with a fully automatic coil manipulation and stacking device
  • The system can be operated without direct supervision
  • Buffering of multiple batch stacks

Your benefit

  • In simple hall constructions without a hall crane
  • Implementation of higher charging heights
  • Reduction in operating personnel
  • Reduction of downtimes to half
  • Increased occupational safety thanks to automatic operation
