Modular measurement technology

DisDAQ – Flexible data acquisition for every measurement task

Our innovative measurement system for modular measurement technology offers maximum flexibility in the acquisition of physical quantities. Thanks to the open architecture, a wide variety of sensors can be easily integrated – for application-oriented, precise measurements in industry, research and development.

The system’s high level of adaptability to specific requirements makes it the ideal tool for data-based analyses. This creates a reliable basis for the development and optimization of AI-supported algorithms.

DisDAQ is …

Versatile & flexible

DisDAQ supports various sensors and interfaces, controls actuators and provides a common time base. It enables live data processing and visualization, is portable and can be integrated into existing systems. High connectivity (USB, WiFi, LAN, mobile radio, CAN, RS485) makes it universally applicable.

Robust & modular

DisDAQ is designed for industrial environments and offers local backups and cloud synchronization. Thanks to its modular architecture, only necessary components are installed and additional interfaces can be added.

Performance & remote access

With high data acquisition rates, seamless long-term recording and live data acquisition, DisDAQ guarantees reliable performance. Real-time monitoring and remote access enable rapid analysis and optimization.

Open source & rapid prototyping

DisDAQ is based on open source technologies such as Kubernetes, ROS2 and InfluxDB. It supports rapid prototyping through a high degree of abstraction, simple implementation of new components and access to raw sensor data.

How does DisDAQ work?

The internal communication between the nodes is based on ROS 2. The flexibility provided by ROS 2 means that measurement hardware can be integrated quickly and easily. Kubernetes provides the underlying management level, allowing the measurement system to be implemented on a single computer or a computer cluster.

DisDAQ can be operated 100% on the system or in combination with a cloud instance. The nodes can be distributed across several locations. The modularity means that all function nodes (drivers, calculation nodes, communication nodes) are encapsulated and can be instrumentalized individually.

Whether operated locally or via the cloud, the same DB system is used for synchronization. DisDAQ runs on the following architectures: x64, ARM64 (ARCH64), Jetson.
