Validation of FE vibration simulations

Precise comparison of simulation and real behavior
LCM carries out comprehensive validations of finite element vibration simulations to ensure their accuracy and suitability for practical use. To this end, relevant vibration modes are stimulated in the operating range and compared with real measurements. Customers receive detailed measurement reports and all relevant data in order to make optimum use of the simulation results.

Requirements
- Metrological validation of the FE simulations
- Excitation of all relevant vibration modes in the operating range
- Comparison of different versions of the component
- Optimal know-how transfer to the customer
Solutions
- Clamping on solid concrete block with LCM
- Stimulation with impulse hammer and shaker
- Graphical representation of the transfer functions and relevant vibration modes (incl. animated videos)
- Comparison of simulation + measurement
- Presence of the customer during the measurements to discuss results directly on site
- Detailed measurement report + transfer of all data
