Open-Source Finite Element Simulation With Code_Aster Using AsterStudy
With the integration of the AsterStudy module in Salome-Meca, the powerful open-source finite element software Code_Aster has become more accessible than ever. The intuitive graphical interface of AsterStudy simplifies the setup of models and the interpretation of results, making open-source finite element analysis an appealing choice for engineers and researchers seeking a cost-effective yet robust solution.
Having successfully applied Code_Aster in various projects, we are pleased to share our experience and contribute to the community by offering a free-of-charge, two-day, online course in English, focusing on the Windows version. Our goal is to help fellow analysts discover the potential of open-source finite element software. During the course, we will cover the essential aspects of setting up a structural simulation, including practical examples to solidify the concepts learned.
The participation link, along with the course materials and instructions to set up your Salome-Meca installation on Windows, will be provided together with the registration confirmation.
Participants who complete the course and support us by submitting a feedback survey will receive a certificate of participation, as well as the comprehensive set of course slides as a valuable reference for future projects.
