Cloudification of production technology for predictive digital production

The mission of CloudiFacturing is to optimize production processes and producibility on the basis of cloud/HPC-based modeling and simulation, the utilization of online data from factory equipment and advanced data analysis.

This optimization contributes to the competitiveness and resource efficiency of manufacturing SMEs, and ultimately promotes the vision of Industry 4.0 and the circular economy.

To fulfill this mission, both computationally sophisticated production technology and simulation, as well as tools for data analysis, are made available as cloud services to facilitate accessibility and make their use more affordable.

Project partners

LCM is a consortium member that is conducting a test case of cloud-based simulation, optimization and product data generation for electrical machines together with the German motor manufacturer Hanning Elektrowerke.
