AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH: Strengthening precision agriculture

AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH leverages the achievements of the Transfarm 4.0 project to improve the digital skills of SMEs and enable them to benefit from the emerging trends of precision farming (PF) and digital agriculture. This initiative aims to create an ecosystem for knowledge transfer in precision farming that connects professors, trainers, researchers, SMEs and graduates to increase digital skills and the competitiveness of the sector. Furthermore, living labs will be set up to test and promote practical applications and innovations in real environments.
Goals
- Identification of PF skills: LCM will help identify the skills essential to the agricultural production sector and define the profile of a precision farming specialist.
- Knowledge transfer: We will co-develop and run pilot courses to impart innovative digital knowledge to the Upper Austrian agricultural and food processing industry.
- Living Lab: In cooperation with the Institute of Viticulture and Enology at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), we will expand the sensor network for viticulture established as part of the Interreg project Transfarm 4.0.
By creating a solid ecosystem for knowledge transfer and providing targeted training, AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH aims to lead the agri-food sector into a new era of precision agriculture, increasing both productivity and sustainability.
AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH is co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg Central Europe program.
