Linz, October 2024 – The partnership between Hilscher and Linz Center of Mechatronics GmbH (LCM) combines the technical expertise of both companies to develop advanced solutions in the field of industrial communication and automation. Both partners contribute valuable expertise in research and development as well as in industrial applications to realize tailor-made technologies for joint customers.

LCM acts as an experienced integration partner in this collaboration and supports users of Hilscher products in the implementation of industrial IoT projects. With in-depth expertise in industrial communication protocols, such as PROFINET, EtherCAT or Modbus/TCP, LCM is able to develop customized solutions for a wide range of industrial applications. These protocols enable real-time communication, which is particularly crucial in industrial environments in order to efficiently network components and implement complex controls in real time.

In addition, LCM supports users of Hilscher’s netX communication controllers, such as the netX 90, in the direct integration of this key technology into their development of sensors, actuators and control technology so that they meet the functional requirements of the respective products. This includes both the communication between the devices and the connection to cloud systems, which creates the basis for a networked, intelligent industrial environment.
The partnership makes it possible to develop forward-looking, integrated systems that build on a solid foundation of industrial communication technologies and optimally meet the requirements of customers in various industries.
