Image Automated sound intensity measurement

Precise evaluation using sound pressure, sound intensity and sound power

The system can be used to measure sound intensity and power precisely and automatically in order to identify and localize sound sources. The combination of robot control, defined probe positioning and automated data processing achieves reproducible and customizable measurement results. Customers therefore benefit from efficient analysis and targeted noise reduction measures.

Requirements

  • Measurement of sound intensity and sound power
  • Identification and localization of the sound source
  • Repeatable measurement and evaluation of sound radiation
  • Easy adaptation to customer-specific problems
  • Information and measures for noise reduction

Solution

  • Control of the robot + DAQ via API interface
  • Defined and precise positioning of the sonic probe
  • Automated scan of a user-defined area
  • Automatic post-processing and creation of the desired results
