As part of the 2021 Biennale of the Museum of Applied Arts (MAK) in Vienna, our ASSET project will be exhibited from May 28, 2021 to October 3, 2021 in the form of a giant poster.
ASSET is an app for sustainable consumption and supports supermarket visitors in decision making.
With the specially created app ASSET, a team of researchers from LCM, ETH Zurich and 2 supermarket chains collected relevant information about shopping behavior. The scientists asked themselves whether consumers would shop more sustainably with a digital shopping assistant that helps them act according to their own values. Would they also try new products and change they behavior? Lo and behold, the shopping behavior has changed.
