AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH:
Advancing Precision Farming

Project Overview

AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH leverages the achievements of the Transfarm 4.0 project to enhance digital skills within SMEs, enabling them to capitalize on the burgeoning precision and digital farming trends. This initiative aims to create a Precision Farming Knowledge Transfer Ecosystem, connecting professors, trainers, researchers, SMEs, and graduates to boost digital competencies and sector competitiveness. Moreover, Living Labs are being set up to test and promote practical applications and innovations in real environments.

Objectives

  • Skills Identification: LCM will help identify the skills essential to the agricultural production sector and define the profile of a precision farming specialist.
  • Knowledge Transfer: We will develop and offer pilot courses to transfer innovative digital knowledge to the Upper Austrian agri-food manufacturing industry.
  • Living Lab: Partnering with the Institute of Viticulture and Oenology at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences (MATE), we will expand the viticulture sensor network established by the Transfarm 4.0 Interreg project.

By establishing a robust knowledge transfer ecosystem and providing targeted training, AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH aims to propel the agri-food sector into a new era of precision farming, enhancing both productivity and sustainability.

AGRI-DIGITAL GROWTH is co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg Central Europe programme.
