Production
The Linz Center of Mechatronics GmbH, Pepperl + Fuchs and Neoception – a subsidiary of Pepperl + Fuchs – and Salvagnini Maschinenbau GmbH exhibit together at the Hannover Messe this year. From the 23rd to the 27th of April 2018 we invite you to a special technological journey: from the virtual to the real world. Digital simulation, development, optimization and producing real, with no scrap on lot size 1.

At the cooperation stand, trade fair visitors can experience what it means to simulate, optimize, develop and produce with “Digital Advantage”.
Development
In the “Development” area of the stand, visitors can develop construction parts or electric motors with the software platform SyMSpace up to the virtual prototype. Visitors will experience how comfortable and easy highly complex optimization and simulation tasks can be performed in product and machine development with SyMSpace. Subsequently, the visitor from the virtual prototype generates a machine code or a paper documentation for the production as desired.
Production
In the “Production” section of the stand, the visitor chooses the type and material of his wish giveaway, which will be produced live for him. The customer’s order is recorded by RFID system and transferred via the cloud to the manufacturing list of the Salvagnini machine in Austria.
As soon as the production order starts, the customer can experience live on a large-area display how his giveaway is manufactured using the “Active Digital Twin” in Austria with lots size 1. Visitors will be able to see details that are normally not visible due to the area around the machine. During the production process, he has live visual and speech contact with the machine operator in Austria. To ask questions or change his giveaway assignment at the last moment. The finished giveaway is still quality-tested by means of a light-section sensor and sent to the visitor after the fair.
