Installed in a robust and water-proof encapsulated housing, the LCM Vibration Analysis and Monitoring System, VAMoS, enables the control of up to 3 acceleration sensors for the vibration and error analysis of mechanical components. After configuration, the system works independently, displaying any detected errors via light diodes in the housing and logging the measured data in the internal memory. All the functions of the system can be configured and the measurement protocol read out via an RS232 or CAN bus link and a graphical user interface.
large selection of acceleration sensors can be used (e.g. ADW22035, ADXL001); sensors are installed in robust sheet bent housing, protection category IP66; cable length: 6 m assembled with optional 10 m extension
ADW22035 single-axis acceleration sensor: maximum acceleration: +/– 28 g; sensitivity: 100 mV/g at 5 V; bandwidth: 0.5 Hz to 2.5 kHz; temperature range: –40 °C to +125 °C; shock resistance: 3500 g
HOUSING AND CONNECTIONS
electronics in the robust sheet bent housing; connection of sensors via M12 industrial connectors; supply via CAN bus (12V) possible communication via CAN bus in accordance with standard 2.0B and optionally via RS232/LAN/WLAN
SIGNAL ANALYSIS WITH FFT IN THE MICROCONTROLLER
sampling rate can be adjusted from 610 Hz to 20 kHz; signal length up to 4096 points; remote control of up to fourfold zero padding
CONFIGURABLE DETECTION RANGE
gear ratio and bandwidth; threshold; operating mode; filtering; hysteresis of detection; any number of areas per sensor
DIFFERENT OPERATING MODES
frequency range fixed or rotation speed dependent; detection threshold fixed or rotation speed dependent; detection threshold absolute or relative; maximum value or mean value detection
DISPLAY AND RECORDING
display of first 2 detection areas for each sensor via multi-colour light diodes; saving of up to 500,000 measurement data sets in the internal memory; time stamp with date and time, configurable recording interval
GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACE
configuration of all parameters, online operation with display of signal spectra and detection result; detection training mode, loading and saving of parameter data and saving of measurement data as MATLAB®, text or CSV file in online operation; configuration and read-out of parameters and measurement data from the internal memory and saving in MATLAB®, text or CSV file; link via RS232 or CAN
